Vascular chamber

The vascular chamber is designed to hold cylinder-shaped scaffolds to be subjected to cell culture under flow conditions.

It counts on two parts which allow establishing two different flow circuits. The length of the internal circuit can be regulated in order to adapt it to the dimensions of each particular scaffold, so scaffolds between 1 and 6 cm can be accomodated in the chamber. Regarding the scaffold bore, the valid values should be between 5 and 7 mm. The outer flow circuit allows circulating fluid through the external wall of the scaffold. Both circuits are independent, so different media type or flow conditions can be applied.

It is manufactured in glass and can be repeatedly sterilized without any problem.
